Our Mission

Founded in 2025, the Asher Chavers Foundation was established in loving memory of Asher Chavers – whose life was marked by kindness, curiosity, compassion, and a deep love for animals, especially birds. Asher’s witty sense of humor and caring heart touched everyone who knew him. As a person with autism, he often struggled to make sense of the world around him, yet he never lost his genuine love for others or his desire to help those in need.

Inspired by Asher’s life and legacy, the Foundation is dedicated to empowering autistic individuals through educational opportunities, scholarships, advocacy, and access to meaningful resources. Our mission is to remove barriers to higher education, promote understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity, and provide encouragement and resources to individuals and families navigating the autism journey.

We believe Asher would be honored to know that his legacy continues to create opportunities and make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Through every scholarship awarded, every resource shared, and every life impacted, we seek to reflect the compassion, resilience, and love that defined Asher’s life.
